To better serve their clients, Pinnacle Health Group has instituted a new mail certification program that will allow clients to receive information about direct mail campaigns on all their active physician searches.
The new mail certification program will provide clients with a copy of the official post office stamp and will include the number of pieces sent out and the class of posting. Optionally, clients may also receive a copy of the list of physician candidates that were included in the mailing.
Pinnacle Health Group is focused on providing quality services to its clients. This program will provide the client with proof that the mailing campaign was executed and will also help them track the progress of each search more closely.
The new mail certification program will be provided to clients upon their written request. If interested, they should contact Melissa Worley at mworley@phg.com or call her at (800) 492-7771.

In an effort to reach out to those in need, Pinnacle Health Group has donated computer systems and software to Spirit Rising (www.spirit-rising.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Native Americans and preserving their culture.
Spirit Rising has been in operation for fifteen years and originally arose from Sun Eagle's and his wife Gentle Wind's vision of a better tomorrow for their people. Sun Eagle and Gentle Wind are a Native American couple who lives on the Mattaponi Indian Reservation in Virginia. "We set up this organization with guidance from the Creator and help from many good hearts," they relate.
In particular, Spirit Rising works at helping those living on the Pine Ridge Reservation as well as other poor Native American communities. The Pine Ridge Reservation has a population of approximately 30,000 people and is located in the poorest county in the nation with an average annual family income of just $3,700. The unemployment rate there is 93 percent and the average life expectancy is 48 for men and 52 for women. Unsurprisingly, more than half of the children there live below the poverty line.
As a result of their continued efforts and the kind support of contributors, Spirit Rising has provided for those in need by supplying food, clothing, furniture, counseling, dentistry, eye glasses, utilities, computer literacy and much more. They also offer sponsorships for Native American children who suffer from poverty and generate ongoing programs designed to promote cultural awareness and education.
Since 1989, kindhearted people from the United States and Europe have sponsored over 800 children through Spirit Rising. Many of these sponsorships have resulted in strong bonds that have lasted through the years and have led to an appreciation and greater understanding of different cultures.

Pinnacle Health Group (PHG), one of the nation's largest full-service physician recruitment and placement firms, supported the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 6th annual "Light The Night" walk on October 9, 2004. The walk was held at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
"Light The Night" is an annual event that celebrates and honors lives that have been touched by cancer. Participants include friends, coworkers, and families from all over the country. Walkers gather in teams and walk in the evening carrying softly lit balloons. Survivors of cancer hold white balloons while supporters carry red balloons.
Pinnacle Health Group's Vice President of Marketing, Heath Ponder, is a member of the executive committee of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and helped plan and participate in this year's "Light The Night." Last year, the state of Georgia raised over $400,000. Commenting on last weekend's fundraising efforts Heath said, "our early tally puts us at raising over $800,000!"
Heath further comments that "donations and support will go to fund research and patient support for those individuals suffering from blood-related cancers." Cancer is a virulent disease and one of the leading causes of death. In the United States alone, over 617,000 people have leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was founded in 1949 and is the fastest growing nonprofit health agency in the United States. Seventy-six percent of every dollar received is used for cancer research, education, and advocacy and patient services.

Pinnacle Health Group, one of the largest and most prestigious physician-recruiting firms in the country,
recently announced that it is working in 23 states and placing physicians in 47 different specialties.
This represents approximately one-third of all specialties listed by the American Medical Association and
almost one-half of all US states. In addition, PHG announced that it is among the top firms for the placement
of cardiologists.
This year alone, PHG has placed several cardiologists in every sub-specialty: interventional, invasive,
non-invasive and electrophysiology. One of PHG's top recruiters, Joe Bishop, has been instrumental in placing a
large number of these cardiologists. When asked why he thought Pinnacle was so successful in placing cardiologists,
Bishop replied, "The key to success is volume. As a result of our extensive advertising and numerous searches,
Pinnacle has a multitude of candidates to work with, therefore we have more opportunities to offer."
Moving forward, Pinnacle hopes to continue its great tradition of focusing on the needs of physicians and those
that hire them. Recently celebrating their seventh anniversary, PHG has continued to grow each year. John R. Couvillon,
CEO, stated, "Pinnacle Health Group is unique because we concentrate on physicians and their clients. Most firms have gotten
into other areas but we excel at doing all the little things to help the client find the right physician and help the physician
find the right opportunity."
