Barbara Hillborn of Sparrow Health System, Lansing, MI, and Shannon Novak, Gratiot Community Hospital, Alma, MI, were winners of a drawing held at the two-day Michigan Recruitment and Retention Network (MRRN) Exhibition. Not only does our new web site look different, it has more information, easier navigation, and tools to help physicians and clients get what they need fast! In addition to providing great opportunities, now physicians can access their own "specialty page" with targeted tools and information just for them! Some new features include:

Specialty Pages. If you've visited our web site before, you'll notice that our opportunities have now been divided into individual 'Specialty Pages'. Each specialty now has its own page featuring opportunities, salary information, events, articles, links, and more. You can get to a specific Specialty Page by using the Opportunity drop-down box on the home page, by clicking the Opportunity link on the homepage left navigation bar, or by clicking the Opportunity tab on the home page top section. Opportunities are updated daily. We also provide you with more choices. When you find an opportunity you're interested in, you may contact the representative or submit your CV. If you don't find what you're looking for, you can register with us, and we'll look for you, notifying you when we find something we think you'd be interested in.

Physician and Client Information Sections
Our Physician Information section includes questionnaires, CV advice, and an easy form for submitting your Curriculum Vitae. The Client Information section includes articles, interview tips, and information about our Licensure and Credentialing services!

WORLD JOB BANK IS THE LARGEST ONLINE REGISTRY
DEDICATED TO PHYSICIAN OPPORTUNITIES

The National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR) announced today that it has developed an online listing of opportunities exclusively dedicated to physicians of all specialties. Member firms have listed their opportunities to create the largest online database of physician opportunities. Physicians can access and make initial contacts through the power of the Internet. In design and development since 1997, the World Job Bank has approximately 2,000 opportunities and almost 1,500 physicians already registering their specific information. One of the creators describes it like this: "Our database gives physicians access to the most physician opportunities without having to talk to a recruiter. It has become so popular because of its ease of use for the firm or for the physician entering their information. We worked together to create the biggest and the best." The National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR), headquartered near Orlando, FL, was founded in 1984 for the purpose of creating a national organization through which professional physician recruiters could work together to maintain standards of excellence within the industry and ensure the highest degree of quality in recruitment services. Today, the NAPR represents almost 300 members, including both the fee-for-service and staff physician recruiters.

PHG NAMED STRATEGIC SERVICE PROVIDER
June 30, 1999

PHG announces being named 'Strategic Service Provider' for physician recruiting in the Quorum Health System. Quorum is a billion-dollar company with approximately 275 hospitals owned and managed nationwide. PHG has signed a three-year exclusive partnership with Quorum to provide recruiting services to the hospitals in the Southern region. The partnership significantly increases the amount of opportunities available through PHG.
