Michael P. Broxterman, Chief Operating Officer of Pinnacle Health Group (PHG), one of the largest full-service physician recruitment firms in the United States, has been invited to speak on physician recruitment at the second annual Healthcare Staffing Summit. This summit will be held June 15-17, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to Mr. Broxterman, Dr. Linda Aiken, Director for the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research, and Claire M. Fagin, Leadership Professor of Nursing and Professor of Sociology will also be speaking at this event. Dr. Aiken is a leading researcher on the quality of health care and nurse staffing. She has also received the prestigious Ernest A. Codmar Award for her use of performance measures in health care.
The Healthcare Staffing Summit will dedicate much of its time to planned networking and facilitated group discussions. Participants will be able to share and learn with fellow colleagues regarding practice successes, difficulties, and other issues about staffing, locum tenens, and allied health. Furthermore, participants will also get updated information on health care staffing technologies, the impact of VMS, and merger and acquisition activities.
