Pinnacle Company Meeting in Fayetteville Arkansas was Amazing

Pinnacle has become a virtual company, but we still like to keep the personal connections, along with having fun, so we  host two company trips per year.  Our company get togethers give us the ability to build a sense of unity, as well as collaboration and teamwork, friendship, fun, and the kind of connection that only comes with an in person meeting.  For our most recent company trip, we chose Fayetteville Arkansas , where we have a small office location.  Fayetteville is a college town supported by Walmart that is pretty immaculate.  The campus and facilities are second to none, and the food, fun, and quality of life is incredible.

Pinnacle was proud to welcome some great industry speakers who provided unique insights into the healthcare industry as well as the charitable foundations that Pinnacle supports.  Walter Harris, president of the Whole Health Institute, spoke on what working in healthcare has meant to him over the years.  He’s worked with a number of incredible people, and we really appreciated his perspective.  In addition Linda Griffin, from the Tiny Homes development in Fayetteville, spoke about the ways in which they are helping the homeless – providing them with a place to live, access to basic healthcare, showers, and support.   Pinnacle supports Tiny Homes, and we are proud to donate bags containing essentials that we hope will give a start to many of the people in their development.

In addition to guest speakers, we conducted training sessions with our permanent, locum tenens, and physician career teams.  The healthcare industry is undergoing drastic changes as the shortage of physicians continues to get worse.  Not enough physicians are being trained, and this shortage is creating an unhealthy work aspect for existing physicians who are leaving the field.  In addition new entities, such as retail clinics, pharmacies, private equity, urgent, care, telehealth, insurance companies, etc., are seeking to recruit physicians, and this is exerting further pressures on the industry.  In short  placing physicians is only getting more difficult.

Pinnacle’s special sauce is our company, our people, our work life balance, our Give Back mentality, our flexibility, and, of course, our ability to place physicians.  We believe that if we hire the right people, with the same beliefs and values and encourage open communication, we will continue to excel in the industry.  And our company trips give us a great platform to promote our vision to our wonderful employees.

A quick message from Mike, President and CEO of Pinnacle

I recently read an article that said students or young people need to realize the goal is not perfection, but persistence.  This word defines our assignments and is a requirement for anyone in our company. The industry is changing, and we have to change with it and if we work hard and play hard, we will succeed.  Everyone has to do their part.  Remember, the number one thing that separates the doers from the dreamers is illustrated by this Steve Jobs quote.  “Most people never pick up the phone and call. Most people never ask, and that’s what separates the people who do things from the people who just dream about them.”
