Atlanta, GA, June 2012 — Craig Fowler, Pinnacle Health Group’s Vice President of Recruiting, Training and Public Relations, was recently presented with a “Distinguished Service Award,” from the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR). The award, presented during the NAPR’s 2012 Annual Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona is given by the organization for leadership, expertise and creativity in supporting NAPR’s mission to promote the highest level of excellence and integrity in physician recruitment.
Fowler has been actively committed to the association for many years, serving on many of the organization’s committees, as well as chairing the annual convention. Fowler has also served on the board of NAPR for several years, most recently as Secretary / Treasurer and was elected NAPR Vice-President during the convention. Fowler is also Chairman of the Education Committee, in charge of the association’s educational programming, including the School of Healthcare Recruitment.
Established in 1984, NAPR is a nationally recognized organization whose purpose is to promote excellence, ethical standards, innovation and a spirit of cooperation in the delivery of services to the health care industry. The organization currently consists of over 200 members including physician recruiting organizations, in house recruiting departments and individual recruiters.

Fowler is a regular speaker for the NAPR and has also spoken at various conferences across the country such as the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) on topics such as “Keys to Effective Physician Recruitment.” Most recently, Fowler was a featured speaker at the 2012 Kentucky Hospital Association’s Annual Conference in Louisville, KY, and the National Association of Managed Care Professionals’ 2012 Spring Forum in Orlando, Florida.
