Rob Rector, Senior Vice President of Recruiting for Pinnacle Health Group, will be giving a presentation on the physician recruitment process to psychiatry residents at the University of Virginia School of Medicine on Friday, February 13, 2004.
This Friday’s presentation will discuss the differences between contingency and retained search firms and outline the steps involved in the physician recruitment process. In addition, Mr. Rector will also give helpful advice on how residents should work with recruiters and how they can handle job interviews successfully. Lastly, he will explain the various types of contracts and employment agreements and the different kinds of compensation benefits psychiatry residents may be offered.
Throughout his 13-year career in physician recruitment, Mr. Rector has placed over 200 doctors nationwide and has worked extensively with both private health care groups and community health centers. Additionally, he has taught many seminars on physician recruitment for such notable organizations as the National Healthcare Congress assemblies in Chicago, Illinois, the National Association of Physician Recruiters meetings in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Quorum conferences in Pennsylvania.
